Dissemination of research results
Promotion of research results takes place through most of the activities in the Institute. In addition to this, the Institute works with dissemination of results through:
- Feature days
The Alexandra Instituteorganises a number of seminars with focus on specific topics, which may be a professional topic or a specific branch of trade. An example of a general theme could be research-based user-driven information in relation to a specific trade. A specific theme could be IT challenges faced by banks and insurance companies. - Knowledge day
The Alexandra organises an annual knowledge day where the members are brought up to date with activities from the past year. - Meetings on the way home from work
Approximately once a month, we arrange meetings lasting for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Such meetings focus on a professional topic, for example a research project/theme or a professional area of interest to a number of our members. - Conferences and Exhibitions
The Alexandra Institute arranges a number of conferences and exhibitions on professional themes.
- Publications
The Alexandra Institute publishes a number of popular publications describing the latest research and development projects, results and applications aiming at a broad audience. - Visitors’ service
The Alexandra Institute organises a visitors’ service with the purpose of presenting the activities in Katrinebjerg. The large number of visits may involve some waiting time for visits.
Most of the above services are free to members of the Alexandra Institute. For some arrangements there may be a participant fee.
