Promotion of trade

The Alexandra Institute participates in a number of promotional activities:

Promotion of investment
Among others the Alexandra Institute works together with Invest in Denmark – an organisation under the Danish Ministry for Foreign Affairs - with the objective of attracting foreign companies to the Århus region and other IT environments in western Denmark. The intention is to launch research collaboration with foreign companies and to help foreign companies who wish to collaborate with local Danish companies. The effort is based on the regional cutting-edge competencies within pervasive computing and mobile technology.
The IT Council
As a member of the IT Councilof the Århus Region, the Alexandra Institute participates in elaborating the strategy for advancement of IT industry in the Århus region.
The Jutland-Funen IT effort
The Alexandra Institute operates ISIS Katrinebjerg and the cooperation with the other competence centres in the Jutland-Funen IT effort. Thereby the Alexandra Institute plays an active role in promoting the development of IT key competencies in Jutland and Funen.
The IT Growth House on 5 th
As a partner of the consortium in the IT Growth House on 5 th, the Alexandra Institute contributes to enhancing IT development in the Oresund region.
